About

About Me

I am a PhD Student in World History at Northeastern University with a focus on U.S History to 1877, Women, Gender and Sexuality, and The Atlantic World.

My research examines the intersection of race, gender and welfare across the Atlantic World. Throughout this research, I’ve told the stories of children who were some of the first to journey into Boston’s orphanages, and have examined the role of migration and movement in early welfare systems. My research employs digital humanities methods.
